What Our Customers Say

★★★★★

"Two winters in and these look considerably better for the wear. The grain leather absorbs weather and scuffs in a way that smooth leather simply cannot. I have stopped thinking of them as a purchase. They are just boots I intend to keep."

Henry M. Edinburgh
★★★★★

"The Jumper moves between tailoring and weekend wear without a moment of compromise. The cap toe provides just enough formality, and the speed hooks are a small detail that matters a great deal when you wear a boot every day. Extremely well considered."

Charles B. London
★★★★★

"Eighteen months of near-daily wear. The sole has begun to show it. The upper has not. The grain leather develops character rather than damage — it weathers, scuffs, and polishes back to a quiet, earned patina. Worth every consideration."

Ownership Guide

A Guide to Ownership

Every pair of Oak & Hyde shoes is designed to age gracefully. The notes below cover fit, care and ownership to help you enjoy them for years to come.

Our footwear is designed on refined lasts inspired by traditional English shoemaking. Most customers find their usual dress shoe size suitable. If you are between sizes, we generally recommend selecting the larger size.

We source full-grain leathers from respected European tanneries known for their quality, character and durability. Over time, the leather develops a rich patina that becomes unique to its owner.

We recommend regular cleaning with a soft cloth, the use of quality shoe trees between wears, and occasional conditioning with an appropriate leather cream or polish.

Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture and direct heat.

Shoe trees help maintain the shape of your footwear, reduce creasing and absorb residual moisture after wear. For best results, we recommend inserting shoe trees shortly after removing your shoes.

Yes. Premium full-grain leather naturally develops character through wear. Minor variations, creasing and patina formation are considered hallmarks of quality leather rather than imperfections.

Most customers find Oak & Hyde footwear comfortable from the first wear. As with all well-made leather shoes, a short break-in period may be required while the leather gradually conforms to the shape of your foot.

Unworn items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they remain in their original condition and packaging.

Please refer to our Delivery & Returns Policy for full details.

Yes. If your shoes do not fit as expected, we are happy to assist with a size exchange, subject to stock availability and the condition of the returned item.
